What is salsa?
Salsa is a passionate, energetic dance that comes from Latin America. It combines captivating rhythms, quick steps, and lots of feeling. Whether on the dance floor or simply listening to the music – salsa brings good vibes and joy for life.
How can I sign up?
Select the “Courses” tab, scroll down past the schedule and the explanation of the membership system. There you will find all classes. Click “Registration” on the class you want and then choose your membership. If anything is still unclear, just send us an email.
I have never danced before – is salsa still for me?
Absolutely. Salsa is for everyone – including complete beginners. Our teachers will guide you through the steps in a relaxed, step-by-step way. Just come by and have fun.
How long does a course last?
A course lasts 8 weeks. It takes place once per week and each class is 55 minutes long.
What does “flat rate” mean?
Flat rate means that you can attend all classes that match your level. If you are not sure which level is right for you, just ask the teachers – they will be happy to help.
How does the membership system work?
A membership initially runs for 8 weeks and is then automatically extended by 4 weeks unless it is cancelled one week before the end date. Your chosen membership remains unchanged during the renewal period, regardless of whether you selected 1 class, 2 classes, or flat rate. Please let us know about changes or cancellations at least 7 days before the end of the current 4-week period.
Are there reduced prices?
Yes – there is a discount for students, pupils, trainees, etc. under the age of 27. Please select it during booking and bring proof on the first day of class.
Is there a dress code?
No. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and can move well. Please wear clean, neat, and fresh clothing so that dancing together is pleasant for everyone.
Do I need a partner?
No. We rotate partners, so you dance with different people and get to know them quickly. Of course, you are also welcome to come with a partner if you want.
How can I cancel my membership?
The membership initially runs for 8 weeks and is then automatically extended by 4 weeks unless it is cancelled one week before the end date. Please inform us at least 7 days before the end of the current 4-week period if you want to end, pause, or change it. Unfortunately, retroactive cancellations are not possible.
How do I pay for the dance course?
During registration, you provide your bank details. The course fee is then automatically debited in the third week of the course month.
Which shoes are recommended for dancing?
You do not need special dance shoes. Street shoes are not allowed because of the sensitive dance floor. Suitable options include socks or clean sneakers. Shoes with a smooth sole that glide easily over the floor are best – your knees will thank you.
